ELECRAMA-2016, the 12th edition was a power-packed event, which held at BIEC, Bengaluru from 13th -17th February 2016. Spread over a gross area of 84,000 m2, 10 plus country pavilions, the exhibition hosted visitors from over 120 countries and overall more than 120,000 footfall. More than 1000 exhibitors were showcasing diverse products, technologies and solutions in ELECRAMA -2016.
ELECRAMA 2016 witnessed the presence of the global electrical industry fraternity, including key decision and policymakers, regulators, officials of power utilities, representatives of funding agencies, technical specialists and consultants, electrical equipment buyers, engineering project contractors and members of the academic community from India and abroad.
The five days international flagship event of IEEMA was inaugurated by Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of State (IC) for Power Coal, New & Renewable Energy, Government of India, in the presence of the Shri D K Shivakumar, Minister for Energy of State of Karnataka, Shri Anil Swarup, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, State Power Secretaries, Shri P K Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power, CMDs of Power Utilities, Senior officials of Ministry of Power, Mr Babu Babel, President, IEEMA, ELECRAMA 2016, Organising Committee Chairman, Mr. Aaditya R Dhoot, senior bureaucrats and industry leaders.
